Data Center

Our servers are located in a State of the Art Data Center in California. The center is carrier-neutral and has Gig-E and fiber accessibility to multiple internet providers.

Ultra Broadbank Worldwide Network

Today's broadband connections demand faster and more reliable performance from your web site and email. Our network was specifically built to be expandable for capacity and for throughput. Our all Gigabit server farm is connected to the Internet through 3 separate providers with an on demand capacity exceeding 7,500 MBits.

We utilize Smart Routing and can switch instantly and transparently away from any of our providers that are experiencing latency or downtime. Our advanced knowledge and planning allow us to provide extremely fast and reliable service while still offering affordable web hosting.

  • Smart Routing over 3 Tier I Providers
  • On Demand bandwidth exceeding 7,500 MBits
  • All Gigabit Internal Network

Redundant Healing Technology

Tomorrow's Internet Solutions, Inc. uses commercial grade Dell servers and Cisco routers built to tested and optimized specs. All hosting machines run with RAID5 data protection (redundant disk arrays that can lose a hard drive with no lose of data or downtime), multiple separate RAM chips, multiple separate Xeon processors, and multiple separate Internet connection ports. This internal redundancy is supported by multiple iterations of uncompressed backups and complete hot-swappable servers.

  • Compete Hot-Swappable Servers
  • RAID5 Data Protection
  • Multiple Separate Components

24x7 Expert Monitoring

Tomorrow's Internet Solutions, Inc. has implemented a sophisticated monitoring process. Our top technicians and administrators have created a suite of proactive and reactive software to optimize and protect the health of our hosting platform. This software can make instantaneous changes to protect against the ever changing demands of the Internet. In the rare event the proactive monitoring does not adapt quickly enough to the situation, the reactive system can clear services and daemons immediately - typically before a visitor's web browser notices the change! Of course, this protocol is completed by 24/7 monitoring by our experienced staff.

Data Center Specs

  • 5,000 square feet of raised floor
  • UPS - Dual 160KVA Uninterruptible Power Supply
  • Cummings 1000KW diesel generator with 7-day fuel reserve
  • Security controlled by card key system issued by NOC personnel staffed 24x7x365
  • Toshiba closed-circuit digital surveillance system incorporates over 24 cameras and is monitored by NOC personnel
  • Data center floor access controlled by access card and biometric scan
  • Six (6) 30-ton Data Aire air handling units (AHUs) providing N+2 redundancy
  • Multi-zone fire detection above and below raised floor monitored internally by the NOC and externally by Honeywell
  • Dry pipe pre-action fire suppression system that will not pressurize until two (2) monitors are triggered. Discharge will only occur in the area where the temperature would rise to trigger a fire sprinkler head
  • Data Center is staffed 24x7x365
  • NOC personnel are well trained with CCNA, CCNP, CCSA, CCSE, MCSE and other certifications
  • The Network, facilities, and customers are monitored continuously by best of breed monitoring tools

Server Specs

  • Model: Dell PowerEdge 2950
  • 8 CPU's @ 2.66ghz each
  • 16G RAM (plus 16G swap) total 32G RAM
  • 8 drives with RAID 5 controller

Network Access:

  • Cable & Wireless Gigabit Ethernet over multi-mode fiber to their national fiber network node located in adjacent building
  • 100 Mbps Ethernet over single-mode fiber connection to the Denver Internap PNAP via XO's Metropolitan Area Network
  • ICG,Qwest and Level3

Presently bandwidth utilization is 5% during peak traffic times. Therefore, the network is very flexible. If one of the backbone connections experiences problems, the traffic can simply be rerouted over other paths.
